Carrie Wilson

Carrie Wilson started with Parkersburg Veterinary Hospital as a volunteer while in High School.  During her journey with us she went from being a kennel staff worker to a vet assistant. She worked weekends with us while attending Pierpont College, where she graduated with an Associate degree in Applied Science.  After graduating and passing her national board exam, she started as one of our Registered Technicians.

She loves being able to care for your fur babies and helps to make them feel safe and comfortable during their time in our care. She helps to maintain our lab machines so that we are able to get the lab work ran in-house for our patients.  Some of the things she does to help our veterinarians include taking x-rays, drawing and running lab work, placing IV catheters,  administering anesthesia and helping to prep patients for surgery.
